Barb, Your Private Therapist, completed her Bachelors degree in Pasychology cum laude. She has a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Lewis University in Romeoville, IL, and is currently completing her Doctorate in Psychology at Southern California University for Professional Studies. She is a member of the American Counseling Association.

Barb served her internship at Guardian Angel Home in Joliet, IL, with a focus on parenting issues and family therapy. She also conducted general therapy with individuals and couples counseling for relationship issues.

Barb continues to see in-office clients, but she is shifting her focus to private counseling over the phone and in an online environment. This allows her to combine her interest in the web with her therapy practice. It also allows her to reach a client base of people who might not otherwise seek therapy.
